Orange meet pink. Pink meet orange. The two hottest colors for this Spring Summer 2012. Pink and orange jewelry. Cheerful and bright, these colors give you an instant mood lift and are sure to provide that great neon pop to your outfit. You never would have thought of these two colors together, but now that we see them everywhere we can’t get enough. Even in architecture. The new Sauguaro Hotel in Scottsdale Arizona, painted in generous lashings of neon pink and orange (and yellow), makes us long for a weekend vacation surrounded in glamour and draped in all of our best dazzling jewels.
We have been obsessede with neon, and have been watching it closely that we notice subsets of colors popping up, neon pink and yellow, neon yellow with turquoise, all neons mixed with neutrals but one of our favorites has been pink and orange. The epitome of Spring, where we celebrate life and happiness. Last night, I even saw this combination sneak up in an episode of Pam Am (love the outfits). Yes its set in the 60s, but the producers hare having fun sneaking in the bold color combinations in fashion today encapsulated in stunning 60′s style dresses and hat and hair accessories. Evidence that even though this color pairing is a little on the wild side, it can be toned down with just the right outfit.
How to start? We suggest getting that perfect pair of neon orange and pink studs. One of our bestsellers has been teardrops crystals in orange and pink. If you want something a little bolder, the Oscar de la Renta drop earrings are stunning and unique. A little pricey at $290, but so worth the understated and beautifully combined pinks and oranges.
Of course, just because you are wearing pink and orange combined, doesn’t mean you have to go for neon. The sorbet pastel versions are equally are stunning, especially in clothing. Rodrigo Otazu has created stunning crystal bracelets and necklaces in the slightly more demure versions of pink and orange, which are still sure to create an impression and a whole lot of dazzle. His pieces price in the $300s but are a good bang for your buck.
Looking for a bargain? Forever21 and Charlotte Russe have not disappointed us. We particularly like the stackable bracelets from Forever21. At $5.80 a perfect bargain. The Friendship necklace is also a ton of fun and a beautiful piece. I can see it paired with jeans and a tank and look stunning. Want to spend a little more? Bauble bar has some gorgeous pieces at $60 and under. A ton of fun!

Love the colors!
